Generational unemployment and anger issues overcome

generational unemployed

The Bridgewater Site has been working with a long term unemployed client called Nicholas.

His major barrier to employment was generational unemployment and anger issues.

He was case managed intensively by his case manager in particular whom he formed good rapport with. They worked on a variety of soft skills including attitude, work ethic and communication in the workplace.

Nicholas began to improve his job readiness and employability. As a result of a tailored approach to the right Employer he was offered employment. Nicholas was encouraged by the his case manager to maintain the employment with high level of post placement support particularly in the early stages.

He has now been with the Employer for 2 months and all is going well. We will maintain regular contact with Nicholas and his Employer to ensure his employment continues.
